Have you ever been able to get to the bios setup screen? The issue I was having was that firstly the AGP Video card I'm using just isn't seen on this board - thinking it may have suffered a catastrophic melt down at some stage - and what I meant be overpowered wasn't too much power, just that it was not allowing it to be detected. If you do have an AGP card installed then take it out the onboard should work fine at least enuff for you to get into the bios.

Ive bought exactly the same mboard ASRock K7S41GX today and installed properly into my old system and the problem is that my monitor k7s4gx not going on with onboard vga card. Mboard is acting normally - running cpu fan, hdd, cd rom. Joined Mar Posts 4.

Otherwise fully satisfied it does the job and does it well.
Socket A is k7s41gc tech now, virtually obsolete so spares will get harder to find. This means the item has been inspected, cleaned and repaired to full working order and is in excellent condition. Ive also tried it with ram and cpu only and with different psu. This item doesn't belong on this page. Good board for low price workstation, solid and reliable.

About this product Product Identifiers K7s441gx. Nothing personal against the board, but after replacing the vfa, processor etc I am still having the same issue so the board's going back - think I'll run with the ASUS from here on in. I used an AGP card in it and you do have to do a bit of fiddling in the bios which k7w41gx kind of foreign to me being Phoenix but didn't have any problems with the AGP overvolting thats for sure.
It's a reclaimed computer product, so not expecting anything other than functionality.

I had never even ventured towards Asrock asus subsidiary until I worked on k74s1gx for a friend, kinda liked it, picked up one for myself after that and then started useing them for budget builds cuz the price couldn't be beat for what ya got I figured.
