Turn 'On' Random hardware addresses. But bg turning On I disconnected and nroadcom Wifi and the same again when turning Off. The download speed is 16Mb and upload speed 11 Mb, when I have Mb speed on my internet connection.

Will have to wait and see if it stays fast - I have had better speed tests in the morning when first using the computer than later adapte the day - for some reason it slows down.
That is good to know but it sounds like it might be a little beyond my technical capabilities.
It seems that this is because they can use the 5Ghz band. See if updating the driver to the latest version helps The signal is very weak on my HP notebook and it intermitantely drops out.

The earlier versions of HP drivers has connection speed issues but newer version as BSOD once any torrect acitivity happes.

There may only be one wireless antenna present and connected to the Broadcom wireless card, which, IMO is part of the reason you get lousy reception. All I know is that if it only has one, you would have to take the whole notebook apart including the display panel area in order to properly run a 2nd antenna. I have been having some problems with my wireless internet qifi.
